Agility Obstacles - The Pause Table

The pause table is an elevated 3x3 foot square platform. The dog must jump up onto the table and hold a sit or down position for a specified period of time. The height ranges from 8 to 30 inches off the ground depending on the dog’s size and the sanctioning organization.

A pause box is a variation on the pause table, where the square is simply marked off on the ground with tape or PVC pipe where the dog is required to do the same pause behavior.
