Rally Organizations

AKC Rally AKC Rally is open to both purebred and mixed-breed dogs that are registered with the AKC.

Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) The APDT Rally program is similar to the AKC and is a popular alternative to the AKC. They also sanction a number of events in Canada.

Canine Work and Games (C-Wags) The newest Rally sanctioning organization, C-Wags hosts a number of events throughout the Midwest US. Their programs add variations on the Rally course, including Zoom, an event with no stationery signs.

UKC UKC Rally is run in a very similar fashion to the AKC, though the exercises required at each level are slightly different. UKC Rally trials are open to any dog and handler.

Canadian Association of Rally Obedience (CARO) This Canadian organization is very similar to the AKC and APDT but includes some agility elements as well.

CKC The CKC added Rally to their repertoire in early 2007. The classes and exercises are similar to the AKC.

Talking Dogs Rally (TD Rally) Launched in the UK in January 2010, TD Rally has developed their own version of Rally that includes color-coded signs and a less head-to-head competitive scoring system, though there are still multiple title opportunities for Rally handler and dog teams.
